Since opening in 1997, Céramic Café Studio has been offering a unique creative experience where everyone is invited to slow down, create, and reconnect. Whether you are a beginner artist or an experienced painter, alone, with family, or with friends, you can come paint original, personalized, and practical ceramic pieces. Visitors can also enjoy a comforting coffee, sit down for a full meal, or simply take a gourmet break at any point during their activity. Designed as a place to gather, Céramic Café celebrates creativity that is accessible to all.

Modernization and
Accessibility for Everyone

In February 2024, Céramic Café Studio partnered with Nara to carry out a visual and technological redesign of its website. The goal was to modernize the brand image, clarify the presentation of the concept, and optimize the online user experience. The new website was designed to reflect the warm, friendly, and creative atmosphere of the studios, while making it easier to understand the concept, how it works, and pricing.

Special attention was paid to ergonomics and navigation in order to simplify access to information and reservations. The overall objective was to deliver a smooth, intuitive, and accessible experience for all, in line with Céramic Café Studio’s values of inclusivity.

Project Objectives

Modernize the Céramic Café Studio brand image to better reflect its creative, warm, and contemporary universe, while strengthening visual consistency and brand credibility across all digital touchpoints.

Clarify the presentation of the concept by clearly explaining how the workshops work, the different options available, and pricing, in order to facilitate understanding of the offering and support visitors in their decision-making process.

Optimize the online user experience across all devices by improving navigation, content organization, and key user journeys—particularly access to the contact form and reservations for each location.

To address the challenges of modernization, clarity, and accessibility, Nara deployed a comprehensive approach combining brand strategy, design, and digital performance. The solutions implemented aim to strengthen the identity of Céramic Café Studio, structure its online offering, and deliver a smooth, consistent, and accessible experience for all users.

Strengthening the Brand Image

Nara reimagined the Céramic Café Studio brand image to make it more modern, professional, and impactful. The visual work aimed to evolve an identity established over more than 25 years, while preserving its founding values of creativity, accessibility, and conviviality.
Designed primarily for digital platforms, the brand identity strikes a balanced harmony between strong visual presence and readability. It enhances the brand’s credibility and stature—both for the flagship and franchise locations—without compromising clarity or understanding of the concept.

Website Redesign: Design, Development & Maintenance

Nara handled the complete design and development of the new Céramic Café Studio website, from initial wireframes to final launch.
The design phase included photo retouching, the creation of original illustrations, and the development of short, playful, and creative animations.
The development phase resulted in a complete, multilingual, and high-performance website. Several key sections were integrated, including a multi-topic FAQ, an advanced contact form with conditional logic, a photo and video library showcasing customer creations, and a transactional platform for purchasing gift cards and membership cards.
The final phase—currently ongoing—focuses on website maintenance and updates, with continuous additions and optimizations to certain sections to further enhance the user experience.

User Experience Optimization

Particular attention was given to user experience through in-depth thinking around page structure and content organization. The website now offers a clear presentation of the concept, how it works, and pricing, while highlighting the ceramics and accessories available in-store to help visitors better envision their experience.
The addition of key sections—such as an FAQ, a conditional logic contact form, a media library, and transactional pages for gift cards and membership cards—streamlines and enhances the overall experience. Special focus was also placed on optimizing the reservation process.
Finally, the website was designed using responsive design principles, ensuring an optimal experience across all devices and maintaining accessibility in line with Céramic Café Studio’s core values.
